Jon
Jon came to tattooing through an unlikely door - years in I.T., filling notebook margins with tattoo designs while everyone else stared at spreadsheets. Friends and coworkers kept telling him to go for it. Eventually he listened, moved to Los Angeles, and learned to tattoo between 2018 and 2019.
Two things shaped his eye more than anything else. Growing up, it was the contemporary Chicano art he saw on murals and in tattoo sketchbooks - bold, cultural, alive with intention. Later, it was Art Nouveau and the work of Alphonse Mucha - organic line, decorative form, and the elegance of the female figure. He's been chasing the intersection of those two worlds ever since.
Today, Jon is working toward a style that brings soft subjects into contact with bold forms, flowers meeting sacred geometry, feminine figures anchored by sharp structure, spiritual themes made contemporary. He uses shadow to build shape and depth, and wants every piece to mean something to the person wearing it.
